Reviews
Very refreshing nature surrounded homestay.
Mr. Udaya Kumar is very friendly and accomodative.
Food was excellent and focus would be towards one family and not profit minded.
Home stay is very clean and hygiene and definitely one would experience a pleasant stay.
Very close to places like Agumbe, Kundadri, Sringeri, and easily you can spend around 4-5 days stay with good sight seeing surrounded.
It was a therapeutic experience.
Thanks Uday sir for a wonderful hospitality.
There are also several vantage points for the tourists to witness the stunning sunsets. Other than the natural bounty, there are also man-made attractions, such as dams and temples.
Nearest points being Shrigeri, Horanadu, Hariharapura, Shakatapura, Aagumbe and many more.
The cleanliness is keenly maintained at the homestay and the authentic taste of breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee/tea prepared by Mrs.Uday, the master chef.
Interacting with Mr.Uday was more of a counsellor. The conversations we had was very therapeutic and calming. We as a couple are grateful to you.
All family members, including my in-laws, kids, myself and my husband had a very satisfying experience at your stay. Much more than a commercial homestay.
Thank you from the depth of our heart 🙏
Bon fire was excellent. All in all lovely couple who treated us like their own children and showed unconditional love. Food was astounding and homely. Would highly recommend this place and staying here makes me want to go back again and again.
The home is located in misdt of farms (most of it is areca nut) and fragmented forests. I visited in the end of December month. Weather was pleasant The forest trees were bearing green leaves. I did not get an opportunity to explore the place but the couple hours of stroll revealed nice diversity of birds no so much on wild plants.
2. Home
It’s a nice , seems to be recently built home with earthen tiles on the roof. The home is well kept and is accessible via a mud road located little more than a kilo meter from black topped road.
3. Food and hospitality
This is where the home stay scores the most. The food is simple yet tasty. Needless to say, home made. The landlords Uday Kumar and his wife are very caring about the guests. They gave us hot water to drink every time we asked for water. They would frequently check on you to know your needs and comfort. Uday Kumar took well care of my son who fell sick on arrival. He took us to a hospital where my son was treated and recovered well. Thank you Uday Kumar.
Hosts are amazing and fully co-operative.
Awesome malnad food.
Must visit.
