Great place to visit, hosts were so welcoming. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Food was great. Most amazing part was sitting on the swing and watching stars at night — felt like a dream. All this good experience was possible because of this beautiful place.

Excellent. Very refreshing nature-surrounded homestay. Mr. Udaya Kumar is very friendly and accommodative. Food was excellent — focus is towards one family, not profit-minded. Very clean and hygienic, definitely a pleasant stay. Very close to Agumbe, Kundadri, Sringeri — easily 4–5 days of sightseeing around. It was a therapeutic experience. Birds Nest is an experience of an untamed exploration. The coffee-lush landscapes make it a perfect weekend getaway from Bengaluru. There are several vantage points to witness stunning sunsets, plus dams and temples nearby — Sringeri, Horanadu, Hariharapura, Shakatapura, Agumbe and many more. Cleanliness is keenly maintained and the authentic Malnad breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee/tea are prepared by Mrs. Uday, the master chef. Interacting with Mr. Uday was more of a counsellor — very therapeutic and calming. We as a couple are grateful. Much more than a commercial homestay. Thank you from the depth of our heart 🙏

Uday sir is one of the most welcoming and humble persons who runs this place. He kindly planned the entire trip with us and guided us throughout. The place has TV, power backup, fridge. Rooms are spacious and beds were extremely comfy. Bonfire was excellent. All in all, a lovely couple who treated us like their own children and showed unconditional love. Food was astounding and homely. Highly recommend — staying here makes me want to go back again and again.

Location and beauty: home is amidst farms (mostly areca nut) and fragmented forests. Visited in end of December — weather was pleasant, forest trees bearing green leaves. Nice diversity of birds during a couple of hours of stroll. The home seems recently built with earthen tiles on the roof, well kept, accessible via a mud road. Food is simple yet tasty, home-made. The landlords Uday Kumar and his wife are very caring. They gave us hot water every time. Uday Kumar took well care of my son who fell sick on arrival — took us to a hospital where my son was treated and recovered well. Thank you Uday Kumar.
